Dino Snores for Kids
Fun for the whole family
This unique sleepover gives kids aged 7 to 11 the chance to explore the Museum after dark while taking part in fun and educational activities.
Ever wonder what happens in the Museum when everyone's gone home?
The night begins as you set up camp in one of the Museum's spectacular galleries, including Hintze Hall.
This action-packed night is not for the faint hearted, and there will be plenty to learn and discover during your stay at the Museum.
Stalk the galleries as night descends and find T. rex in hidden in shadows. You'll also have the chance to:
- explore a torch-lit trail
- get creative with a dinosaur t-shirt-making workshop
- dig deeper with an educational science show presented by a Museum scientist
At midnight, it's time to settle down to sleep. In the morning, breakfast is served bright and early and you'll get to experience a live animal show before waving goodbye to the Museum when it opens to the public at 10.00.
Airbnb Base Camp
The Museum has teamed up with Airbnb for a night of discovery and adventure, inspiring the next generation of young explorers. Guests at Dino Snores for Kids will have the chance to win places at the Airbnb Base Camp, a specially-designed sleepover area in the Museum.
The area is on the top balcony of Hintze Hall, beside a 1,300-year-old giant sequoia. It overlooks the Museum's 25.2-metre blue whale skeleton, which hangs in the Hall.
How does it work?
When guests book a place at Dino Snores for Kids, they will be contacted about the opportunity to spend their sleepover at Airbnb Base Camp. Winners will be notified one week before the sleepover.
